Escaping from the factory, they notice stenciled on the wall is a stylised robot looking like a toy robot with a crown lopsided on its head but pay little attention to it as they make their way to Barter Town. Finding their airport base in flames and the Barter Town troops ready to break, they look for their own soldiers only to see them stood down. Rallying their troops and directing them into battle they reinforce the Barter Town soldiers and the line holds.
The Legion of Gold
As the group looks for Napoleon, the rogue Clicky who has taken control of their corporation, their own troops are disrupted by the arrival of the Legion of Gold, as the golden cyborgs carve their way through the Chikkinobbs football league players.
The three decide to defend their employees and set about the cyborgs. A bruising and battering fight ensues, with an overpowered adrenal rage and the odd rain calling ability lending themselves to the ripping apart of the Robot King's shock troops. War broadcasts the results of the fight via the radio, demoralising the Robot King's troops but falls short of sending images via the abomination that War believes TV is. Salvaging some omega tech from the ruins of the cyborgs, they rest briefly and savour their easy victory as suddenly Napoleon strikes.
Napoleon's last charge
Leading his Clicky recruits riding Attercops, giant mutated spiders, Napoleon charges the group. With a cry of "I always thought you were an insect, I'll crush you like a bug" the group retaliate. Tabbatha ripped through two Attercops at high speed, launching herself from the sky cycle and embedding a force axe into the head of one of the spiders. Zeek blasting away and War attempting to stun Napoleon out of the fight, with some success. The battle initially goes in the groups favour but the Attercops prove more dangerous than their riders, pinning and cocooning two of the group. War has an impressive alpha flux, going from War to Claw (who curses Napoleon "you 'cockroach' you betrayed us all") to Rocky and then back to War in a single combat round! Rallying, the group then splatters bug all across the battlefield.
The battle is turning in favour of the Barter town / Chikkinobbs troops yet their is still no sign of the Robot King on the field. Scouting the field, using holoscanners and the hover cycle, the identify the approach of a large War Machine - attacking the combined forces of the group and heading straight for the three leaders.
The return of the Robot King
The Robot King appears to be a large war machine, with the stylised robot logo printed on its side and initially had some success. However, the combined powers of the group soon immobilised, stunned, blinded and blasted the robot into a ruin. Investigating the bot, which turns out to be an Eradicator robot, they see a small TV flicker to life. "You think you have destroyed me? I have BUILT many more of these [a camera pans across a hall filled with Eradicator robots], I can out make what you destroy, my servants will rule the world, I will cover the land with my forces!!"
Tabbatha and War look at each other and hit the remote buttons. In the distance a mushroom cloud grows as the blast passes through the Robot King Factory complex ...... then sweeps over the Chikkinobbs factory farm, a fact that slowly dawns on the three corporation owners.
In the aftermath of the nuclear explosion, Barter Town returns to the council and the three disappear from the region and into legend.......
Six months after the War of the Robots, in a distant land a cantina sits squat beside the road, partly hidden by the shimmering heat. A swarthy man enters the bar, looks around and heads for a darkened corner where three patrons sit. A short conversation ensues, and then clearly heard is "yes, we can move that, we can move anything, anywhere ...for the right price"..........
