Life in Cold Blood

Life of Mammals, Life of Birds, Life in the Undergrowth, Private Lives of Plants, Life on Earth, Life in the Freezer, The Trials of Life, The Living Planet

Have finally got round to watching the last episode of Life in Cold Blood, the final instalment of David Attenborough's Life series in which he tries to film examples of all the groups of living things on Earth. This 30 year journey explores the richness of the living world and, as with each of the prior series, Sir David manages to not only seek out animals [and plants] that have never been filmed before but also to display his infectious enthusiasm for the natural world. This series, with the amazing new technology is his last and who will be replacing his cultured tones in future documentaries?

All I can say is thank you to David Attenborough [the man who has my ideal job] for showing me so many wonders of the natural world that I would never be able to see in my lifetime.
