Man battles hyper-intellectual pirate and then aliens from different solar system. What is amazing in this book is the sheer speed of technological adaptability of all involved! Dialogue very much pulpy and misogynistic. However, female character is empowered to act (as opposed to standing around screaming until hero saves her and universe at the same time) – so at least that is ok!
Campaign notes:
Danger of too much tech [which too readily solves problems] and watch the dialogue. Very ‘alien’ aliens again – also lacking detailed development, but good first contact events. Introduces species present in solar system (Venerians and Jovians) – possible to have.
