It is rare event that an album appeals to me and that I instantly love every song on it. Some I let grow on me and they do make to my favorite list but Lost Highway jumped straight to the top.
The album is Bon Jovi for the fans who grew up with him, the lyrics match the phase of life they are going through and thats what makes it work. Unlike the latest Eagle's album which gave us exactly the same as we have come to expect (and which incidently I didn't buy because of this), Bon Jovi delivers something new, yet something familiar, it is Bon Jovi for the fans now not what they were when the band was at their high point.
